Again for those of you that follow my reviews I do a lot with animals. I have purchased this blanket a few times. It is quite thin and quite lightweight and rather small in size. If I were using it for a person I would say it’s okay as a throw blanket while on the couch watching tv, however I wouldn’t recommend it for your only winter blanket. To be honest I lay it down over the carpet in my bedroom as that’s where my cats are most of the time . It’s got great friction so it stays flat and secure and it helps catch those accidents kitties can have with hairballs and- well what happens when they over eat! I can run my vacuum over it and it doesn’t get caught up in the roller and to be honest it’s easier to launder it than it is to shampoo the carpet. So that’s what I use it for !!The product is great for its price. Isn’t as soft as expected, but still okay. Very thin and light weight. However, I’m disgusted by the packaging. the label was moldy, the tap was gross, and the mold got onto the blanket. Maybe it’s a humid place inside where it was stored, but still gross. It’s nothing too serious since it’s washable.Nice, light weight, comfortable & warm. Easy to clean, doesn't pill.Unlike the advertisement, these were not used as a throw for a bed. They are part of a survival system which are used in conjunction with a reflective lightweight survival sleeping bag. They ideal for that purpose in testing and hopefully I never have to use them for real.Good product.I bought two of these to help cover spaces that my tree skirt does not reach. I buy a real Christmas tree and even an extra large tree skirt doesn't cover enough space for when the needles fall. For that purpose, these were great. They are not very thick, but very soft and a good price. One of the worst items i've purchased on Amazon. Feels like a cheap throwaway Christmas tree skirt or felt, will rip in no time and attracts pet hair like a crazy magnet. Not soft at all. Wouldn't recommend unless you like scratchy cheap blankets that leave tons of lint in your dryer . Turned my wool dryer balls red too so thank goodness i didn't wash with anything else.My boss loves it.I didn’t experience the shedding that others mention. I used them to cover furniture in a rental to protect it from my cat. They were great.Bought these to be sent to Hungary to keep Wags N Wet Noses rescue dogs warm and cosy over the coming winter, they should do the job nicelyIt's clearly a cheap fleece material, I wouldn't want to use it as a blanket myself, but perfect for cutting up for my pets.I bought 6 of these for a bbq, for guests to have something to put over their legs/ shoulders if the weather got chilly - the only reason I picked these ones were that they were cheap and so wasn't expecting or demanding much from them.As it turned out - though thin - not only is the quality surprisingly good, but theyre a lovely soft, warm super-lightweight blanket and the colours (I picked purple, teal and black) bold and great looking. My sister (who is always cold!) ended up the only one needing them, but was so taken with hers that she pinched it!Later in the month I used one when having a "sofa day" and it was lovely and comfortable without getting too hot. I've since donated one to my cat, who is inseparable from it, and used another to line his cat carrier (which he likes to sleep in because he's weird) - which also makes it a lot more comfortable for him when going to the vet.I doubt they'd be much use in the depth of winter, but as a light comfortable solution to keep the chill off, or a pet blanket, they're fantastic, and I would buy more without any hesitationI bought this throw to cover the seat of my worn sofa and it's exactly the right size, soft and lightweight. I have washed it now before use to drop out any creases and smell nice. It dried really quickly and makes my sofa look like new. It also brings a warmth which is ideal now as weather is getting colder.I unpacked the throws and shook them to straighten them out a bit and I could almost see straight through them. Omg are they thin!! I can't return them as I have visitors arriving soon. They actually look ok from a distance. I have them as throws over the backs of my settees so let's hope that no one gets chilly and wants to use them as a fleece. They'll have one mighty shock
